AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson has been named as the first patron of the Graham Wylie Foundation, which aims to 'help, inspire and education vulnerable and underprivileged children' across the North East.
Johnson is also helping to launch the charity's first fundraising event, Run, Rock 'n' Raise, which takes place September 11, raising money for the Graham Wylie Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust and music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. Johnson commented 'I am very proud and privileged to be the first patron of the Graham Wylie Foundation. I strongly believe in the power of music to help children and adults through the tough times of ill health'.
